What is group therapy?
Groups provide a safe place to speak with others who share similar struggles regarding food and weight and body image issues. Through mutual support, guidance and peer networking, isolating eating patterns can be broken.
Group therapy is a powerful tool that enables members to gain from the insight and experience of others, empowers them to attain more satisfying relationships, and provides a source of healing from shame. Groups can also be a great adjunct to individual therapy.
If you think you might be interested in joining a group, give me a call so we can talk more about your situation.
